Join us in a unique challenge that you can do anytime, anywhere – as we connect our global MI family to help children around the world
The goal of the Mackrell International Connect the World Challenge is to ‘travel the miles’ between the two furthest points in our network, Vancouver and Auckland, around 28,000 km (the long way round), raising money for UNICEF and Larchfield Children’s Home in Tanzania
To ‘travel’ you can walk, jog, run, cycle, swim, hand-glide, unicycle, kayak, bake, knit, sail, windsurf, ski, garden, golf and even read a book
You can take part as a firm, a team or an individual
Your questions answered
What is the aim of the CtWC?
To raise money for children of the world who really need it
What else?
To reinforce and display our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) credentials as a network and to raise our profile
How do I/we do that?
Simple; choose an activity (any activity) and get yourself sponsored by friends, family, contacts, your work… Complete the activity, collect the sponsorship and pay it in to the chosen charities.
What more?
By entering yourself or your team, sharing your goal/story/photos, you promote yourself and your firm to the network and wider. MI HQ will be highlighting a ‘Connector of the Week’ and allocating prizes.
What’s the time frame?
We will be closing the challenge in December at the MI Annual Awards ceremony, so you have plenty of time to do your activity (or activities!) and get your sponsorship in– plus, there’s plenty of time to publicise your efforts.
